A highly diverse communicator with excellent strategic organizational leadership skills, Brandi Tanner Chambless holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Louisiana Monroe and an MBA from LSU Shreveport. Her background includes bench chemistry and laboratory management in the medical device, ophthalmic, and materials science industries with the scanning electron microscope as her primary instrument. Brandi invested her early career in the intraocular pilot program at ALCON Laboratories well as Mentor Corporation, Inc. where she managed the testing laboratory and implemented a program for sample archives in compliance with FDA guidelines. Brandi gained national media exposure when she transitioned into legislative work, primarily public policymaking in the field of bioethics, promoting the greater good. Within her twenty-five-year career, she has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, launched a media firm, a real estate business, and a professional writing firm in which she has authored projects from technical manuals to children’s books. She is an active part of her local community and church and enjoys cooking and gardening.
